Lenna Salbashian
Lenna has been making art to understand the world long before she learned to speak Armenian and English. Images, colors, and symbols have always communicated through her from a greater source, while words followed to make sense of the creative experiences. After burning out from corporate fashion, Lenna knew she needed to understand the connection between illness and self-disconnection. She left NYC to study the mind/body/soul by working with yoga and meditation masters worldwide and learning from art therapists and western science through her masters in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapies. Today, Lenna gives others the tools her childhood self intuitively knew, the language of creative expression as a source of healing and life enhancement. She has built companies that promote optimal health through access to creative arts therapies that blend eastern and western practices. She provides services to clients and groups through her practice and makes the healing practices of art therapists accessible to the world through her app, Createful. Personally, Lenna makes a mark on canvas daily and loves to wake up dancing and playing music. You can usually find her exploring by immersing herself in the painting process or venturing off to a foreign country.
